And by the time I finished both books, I was left wanting more. More of the intense action, more of the complex characters, and definitely more of the amazing writing. Now let me introduce you to my friend Sue. She’s not much of a reader, but even she couldn’t put down Emperor The Gates of Rome + The Death of Kings. And that says a lot!
