I have to say, I am absolutely blown away by the Misty of Chincoteague Essential Collection! This boxed set includes four amazing books Misty of Chincoteague, Stormy, Misty’s Foal, Sea Star, and Misty’s Twilight. Each one is filled with adventure, heartwarming moments, and of course, plenty of misty magic. As a horse lover myself, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this collection.
First up is Sarah. She couldn’t put these books down! The stories were so captivating and the characters felt like old friends by the end. She especially loved following Misty’s journey from wild pony to beloved companion. And let’s not forget about the beautiful illustrations throughout the books – they really brought the story to life!
Next we have Emily. She was completely hooked from the first page. The way Marguerite Henry writes is just so engaging and easy to read. Her descriptions of Chincoteague Island were so vivid that Emily felt like she was right there on the island with Misty and her family. And she couldn’t stop laughing at some of the funny antics that Misty and her foal got up to.
And finally, we have Tom who was pleasantly surprised by this collection. He picked it up as a gift for his niece who loves horses, but he ended up reading it himself before giving it to her!
